Theme and 9 variations on the popular English hymn God save the King (originaly maybe by John Bull) by Simon Sechter, Austrian-Czech composer from the first half of the 19th century; he was an appreciated organist and a strict teacher, some of the most famous musicians who took lessons from him are Schubert, Fuchs and Bruckner (this last one even by mail, when the teacher could not play anymore).
