A madrigal for 5 voices by Bartolomoe Spontoni, late renaissance composer and singer from Bologna, who studied both in his hometown with Nicolò Mantovano and later in Rome with Jaques de Ponte and Morales. He was probably acquainted with Willaert, as well, in his youth in Venice.
