Un brano che parla di pace, scritto evidentemente al termine di una guerra: invita tutti a collaborare per la ricostruzione e Dio a "dare una mano", soprattutto nel mantenerla, la pace.

Johann Erasmus Kindermann è stato un organista e compositore barocco, il principale della Scuola di Norimberga nella prima metà del '600. Suoi allievi furono, tra gli altri, gli insegnanti di Pachelbel. Dopo un suo viaggio in Italia negli anni '30 fu anche molto utile alla propagazione in Europa delle opere di Carissimi, Frescobaldi e Merula.

Kinderman was the main organist and composer of the Nurnberg School in the first half of the 17th century. Among his pupils were the teachers of Pachelbel. He also travelled to Italy in the 30ies, and this brought him to spread in Europe the works of Carissimi, Frescobaldi and Merula.
